We seek a proactive, people-oriented Concierge to be the welcoming face of our organization. This individual will manage front-of-house operations, greet youth participants, families, and creative partners, and maintain an organized workspace. The ideal candidate thrives in a creative, collaborative environment and is dedicated to youth empowerment.
Provide warm & friendly support to visitors, participants and staff members by identify the immediate needs of visitors and participants.
Answer multi-line phones, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
Receive and distribute mail, packages, and donations.
Recommend and connect visitors and potential participants with internal programs- coaching curriculum and registration procedures or external agencies; help to schedule appointments and arrange transportation.
Help schedule appointments with staff members when necessary.
Maintain an updated resource directory for services in the Houston area.
Maintain a safe, accessible, and positive atmosphere in shared public spaces.
Manage the scheduling, setup, and cleanup for community gatherings, workshops, or nonprofit-hosted events.
Monitor lobby activity, enforce facility rules, and ensure the building remains a secure environment for all visitors, participants and staff.
Maintain confidential and accurate records of visitor metrics, client needs, and service usage to assist with grant reporting and organizational planning.
Provide customized support for VIPs, major donors, and community partners, acknowledging contributions and keeping them informed of organizational outcomes.
Ensure studio, rehearsal, and theatre spaces are safely set up and prepared for sessions.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 6 months – 2 years in reception, administration or community outreach.
Tech Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication tools.
Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, active listening, and strong emotional intelligence.
