WHO WE ARE
We are a community nonprofit theatre organization, driven with the mission to provide teenagers and youths with alternative choices to vice; by equipping them with life-skills that will foster economic empowerment, self-realization and hope.
We use theatre as a tool to educate our audience by creating a space to tell compelling stories that highlights:
Issues that drives the youths to tell their stories.
The simplicity & richness of our community and its diverse cultures.
Since our inception, we have served over 100 young people, of which 98% of participants completed the life-skills training. Many of whom did not think they could experience a better version of themselves.
We create a space where young minds can grow, find hope, and freely express themselves and in turn impact their community for good, by engaging them in self-improving trainings like teamwork, leadership, public communication, arts, theatre and African dance.
InvisibleOne Inc® was originally known in Nigeria as C.H.A.T (Christ Heirs’ Acts & Theatre). We were established in November 2003 at the University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria by a group of young undergraduates who love theatre & appreciates its ability to inform and change mindsets. We performed various creative theatrical works while at the University of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria.
Over the years and with this passion still burning in our hearts; we relaunched the mission by enacting a non-profit organization registered in Nigeria as InvisibleOne Theatre Foundation®; and in the United States as InvisibleOne Inc®.
During the 2020 pandemic in partnership with Tell-A-Tale production, we simultaneously produced Mad Medicus written by Obinna Orji - in Lagos, Nigeria and Indianapolis IN. Also in July 2023, we produced "Lottery Ticket" in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. You can watch these productions & other short web series on our YouTube channel.
